Uganda – The challenge of drinking water

Reaching the whole population with clean and drinking water: for Uganda this is one of the most difficult challenges to face.
The ‘National Water and Sewage Corporation’ is the public company that has taken responsibility for this important task since 1972. In a country so poor in water resources as Uganda, for the maximum diffusion of drinking water it’s essential to use leading technological solutions.
This is why the Ugandan company has chosen Veneroni company to build the water lifting station from Lake Victoria for supplying the water treatment plant for the urban water network.
Veneroni company has built a plant composed of four SVN mixed flow pumps with total flow of 2.000 l/s and head of 20 m.
