Oman – Salt production
Oman is a sultanate in the Middle East that overlooks Arabic sea to the south and to the east, Gulf of Oman to the north-east. Worldwide famous for its oil reserves, the Country has also developed an important production of fresh herbs, such as incense, and of spices, especially salt.
For this reason, Veneroni company has built some water lifting stations for supplying the local salt production plant.
The plant is composed of six EVN propeller pumps with total flow of 5,000 l/s and head of 3 m, that draw water directly from the sea.
